PFI is an independent Hong Kong coordination practice supporting Chinese-speaking families through significant cross-border change.
The family-side coordination layer
We create a consistent account of the people, entities, documents, institutions and decisions relevant to one defined change event.
We separate confirmed facts from assumptions and clarify which decisions belong to the family and which questions require professional advice.
We help the family and its advisers work from the same information, with clear responsibilities, requested documents and next actions.
We record what was decided, what remains unresolved, who owns each action and what result must be obtained.
Where an engagement may begin
The first engagement focuses on one live family matter. It is fixed in scope, time-bound and non-exclusive. The family or institution retains all work produced.
Clear boundaries from the outset
PFI does not replace the family office, trustee, lawyer, tax adviser or investment professional. We support the family-side work required for their advice to move forward.

Founder and Principal
Before establishing PFI, Zita worked in the international trust sector, supporting Chinese-speaking families in conversations concerning offshore trusts, family governance and cross-border succession.
Her experience revealed a recurring gap: families may engage capable professional advisers, yet no single party maintains a complete family-side view of the facts, decisions and institutional responsibilities. PFI was created to address that coordination gap.
Professional boundary
PFI does not provide legal, tax, investment, immigration or fiduciary advice, does not manage or receive client assets, and does not introduce financial products. Matters requiring regulated or jurisdiction-specific conclusions remain with the relevant qualified professional.
A practical first step
If the professional advice is sound but family-side facts, decisions or follow-through remain unresolved, we welcome a confidential introductory conversation.
Please do not include client names, asset values or sensitive documents in an initial email.
